Allen A. Kolber, Esq. has represented both domestic and foreign insurance companies, including Jewelers Mutual, Hanover Insurance, First Central Insurance, Great American Companies and litigated multi-million dollar claims for Underwriters at Lloyds of London. Mr. Kolber has specialized in all matters of Insurance Litigation, including Jewelers Block, fine arts, armored car, property/casualty and professional liability.
Mr. Kolber's published case decisions include Falcon Crest Diamonds, Inc. v. Dixon, 655 N.Y.S.2d 232 (1996), 6247 Atlas Corp. v. Marine Ins. Co., 923 F.Supp. 523 (SDNY 1996) and Ressler v. White, 968 F2d 1478 (2d Cir. 1992). His published articles include "Appellate Court Expands Damages For "Bad Faith" Claims To Include Foreseeable Damages Such As Mental Distress And Aggravation", "Property/Casualty Insurance", 2001.
Mr. Kolber has lectured as an Instructor for Lloyds of London Insurance Brokers regarding International Litigation and Broker Negligence & Liability.
